Welcome to the LDA of IL website! Here you will find information to help you be more successful.  If you have some ideas that you want to share, please send them to us at LDAofIL@ameritech.net.

There are many kinds of things that you can do to help yourself.

1.  Try to stay organized. Use one color for each subject so that your folder, spiral and textbook covers are all one color.

2.  Smart people always ask for help. Talk to your parents, teachers, counselors, and even principals to get the help you need.

3.  Decide the best time of day to do your homework and stick with that schedule.

4.  When you are doing your work, it might help to take short breaks.

5. Use the below websites to help you do homework and learn more about different learning styles.
